Happy Thanksgiving! :)

Earlier this month, I wrote a LinkedIn post - “Do what people with your background think is beneath them” that got over 200,000 views.

I listed several underrated, unsexy career paths I wish I knew about earlier, and several commenters asked me to write about more paths.

So here are 11 career paths where your finance, consulting, law, MBA, Big Tech, VC, rocketship startup, Ivy League…prestigious background gives you an unfair advantage. (11 because I don’t believe in forcing a round number!)

Forward this to someone stuck in golden handcuffs - might be an even better gift than getting them something 20% off on Black Friday.

P.S. I’m putting a paywall on this not to gatekeep (literally the opposite of my mission), but because we don’t value what comes too easily. I’m also sharing this as a video series every day on Instagram @careerhannah!
