This resonates deeply. The shift from "choosing" a nonlinear career to having one thrust upon you is probably the most important framing here.

Great read, Hannah! Could you also share/point out some resources on how to get started with vibe coding?

Great insights here. This resonates. I’ve been working on investing more in relationships and building a personal brand. Next on my list is using AI for real. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for this!!

As a former banker, how do you see this impacting junior IB roles specifically (given how screen-heavy they are)?

And for immigrants whose visas depend on employer stability, how should we think about risk over the next few years?

Def going to see smaller class sizes, but they’ll still be hiring, otherwise there’s no one to train up! (I’m American and not a lawyer so I can’t speak to the immigration question - risk tolerance is also so personal)

fantastic read! i’ve been thinking a lot recently about how AI will shift then knowledge work playing field to favor AI-native generalists (and have been trying to ensure i am one of them). It’s reassuring to hear that i’m not the only one who thinks this :)

Yep I think you nailed it exactly - it’s not that AI will make every job disappear, but you want to be on the right side of change

exactly! exciting (but also kind of scary) times ahead 🙏🏽
