Your post has helped me level up how I'm using AI. It's been a great partner to handle my research, but the writing is largely my own. Your tips may give me some new amplification. Here's my question -- if AI is your final editor, and someone runs an AI check -- doesn't all of the work get attributed to AI? I'm worried about my stuff getting tagged as AI just because I was using it to proof or polish???
The distinction between using AI as a researcher and copywriter, rather than a ghostwriter, is the clearest rule I have seen for preserving judgment. I also like your reach, trust and proof framework because it turns content into a balanced system, not a race to post more.
Such a useful article! I already know I'll be coming back to it for future reference. The unseasoned chicken bit made me laugh because I've definitely served it. Also starting today i'm implementing my own anti-slop list, thank you!
I love the section “If I don’t have an opinion or perspective already, AI makes writing slower” haha literally this. I always audio record my thoughts and throw the transcript into AI before I polish it, and ensure it’s based off my own voice. But without any opinion, it’ll just be sludge
This is very useful, thank you! I’ve just used the CRIT model, and here’s Claude’s feedback: “Good brief. Your listening section is the part nobody else writes, and it's what will make this piece land.”
Loved this post! I'd love content that helps people identify what they should be creating content about. I want to start but don't feel like I'm an "expert" in anything.
PS. Your instagram and youtube links need updating :)
