Thanks for such an in-depth interview with Hannah. This was super cool to read and really is evidence of how taking opportunities and trusting yourself always leads you to the right places.

I remember when I started my career at Deloitte, one of the more relevant "soft skills" they taught was storyboarding, i.e. consulting lingo for storytelling, and HOW important the messaging and delivery of a solution or plan was.

That’s such a good example of storytelling ppl don’t think about!

Mishti, one idea that stood out to me is your distinction between product messaging and narrative. Products explain what an organization does, but narratives shape how people understand why it matters and where it fits in a broader story. I also appreciated your point that success isn't measured by reaching everyone, but by reaching the right people. The strongest narratives don't try to appeal to every audience, they create enough clarity that the right audience recognizes itself in the story.

Storytelling is such an underrated skill. People may forget the facts and advice, but they remember how a story made them feel. That’s often what makes an idea stick.

Such a great interview defining those "newer" roles. Not sure if anyone has tapped this yet, but with tech and AI becoming so opportunistic, I think many marketers or communications professionals could benefit from a series on how to position yourself for a GTM job further. In AI circles and communities I see so many people with this title or experience, but it feels slightly intimidating or like a stronger barrier to entry if you come from more traditional brand marketing, social media, etc. I know so many would love to pivot to something more technical.

This was a good read. But I’ll be honest, I’m still a little confused on what the job of storytelling actually is.
